Drew van Steenbergen is an award-winning director & editor who likes to use a lot of adjectives to describe himself - with work spanning features, commercials, narrative series, shorts and interactive storytelling.

He serves as the lead editor for Spotify and The Ringer’s Golden Globe winning podcast, “Good Hang with Amy Poehler” and has edited series for Paramount+, Hulu, Disney, ABC, and Comedy Central. Drew has also cut high-profile commercial campaigns for such clients as DoorDash, BMW, and NBC’s Abbott Elementary – earning accolades including Clio Awards, Best Editing at the NYTV Festival, and Best Short Film at OutFest LA. 

His directing credits include both The Late Late Show with James Corden and I Love You, America with Sarah Silverman, as well as short films that have screened at over 50 festivals worldwide. He has also worked on experimental interactive series for Eko Studios and the Duplass Brothers.

His first feature as an editor, Basic, is premiering at SXSW 2026.
